Paul is pleased to announce that one of his photographs has been awarded
"Highly Commended" in the 2009 Veolia "Wildlife Photographer of the Year"
competition.
Paul says "I have always been a fan of this competition and
have visited the
associated exhibition in the Natural History Museum in
London on several
occassions. I never thought that I would have a
photograph to compete with
the extraordinary images that the competition
attracts, but a chance
encounter with some arctic terns in Iceland gave me
this opportunity.
It is amazing to see my photograph in this great exhibition
in London.
You can see the photograph here.
Corbiere, Jersey
I spent a week on Jersey and, after the frustration of days of grey skies and flat seas, day 6
produced
high winds and decent surf. I Photographed as night settled in with this 15 second
exposure and hope that it captures the purpose of the lighthouse being here.
