Grand Canyon, Arizona

"This is, of course, a photograph of the Grand Canyon! This is taken from the
South Rim at dawn. If you ever go to the Canyon, you must, must, must
see it at dawn. During the middle of the day, the canyon becomes almost
a featureless void and it is very difficult to comprehend scale. However,
at either end of the day the sun picks out the ridges against the dark
shadows, revealing a really beautiful pattern or shape and form".
